Why I Support WISDOM Good Works

by Susan “Sam” Collier Buchenau

I support WISDOM Good Works because I believe in the collective power of humans to make our world a safer place for all its inhabitants, and I want to be a part of that.

Some years ago, a veterinarian friend told me that in her practice she had seen far too many beloved pets suffering from poisonings, which the owners believed were caused by disgruntled neighbors. My friend said that angry neighbors were rarely the cause of their beloved pets’ illnesses and deaths. Much more often they were the result of the poisons these pet lovers used to control rodents in their own homes. And those poisons also continued through the food chain killing birds of prey which would otherwise help to control the rodents. Sad but true!

In many countries large percentages of food crops are lost to rodent infestations. WISDOM’s nontoxic technology reduces rodent populations, resulting in larger crop yields and greater food security.

So, why do I support WISDOM Good Works?

Because WISDOM’s fertility control technology is managing rodent populations, removing poison from our environment and helping to restore ecological balance, making the world safer

for all its inhabitants.

WISDOM’s Co-Founder Dr. Loretta Mayer has been a friend, colleague and mentor for many years. I became a WISDOM Good Works Board Member because of its commitment to humanely control animal overpopulation around the world, while also making the environment safer for wildlife and domestic animals and helping to ensure greater food security. In my experience that’s a WOW that’s worth celebrating!

Sam BuchenauI’m thrilled that as I wish a very Happy Birthday to my dear friend Dr. Loretta Mayer, with a donation to WISDOM Good Works, that the impact of my donation is DOUBLED thanks to a very generous donor, who is matching every donation up to $25,000 during this birthday celebration!

Please join me in wishing Loretta the happiest of birthdays with a donation to WISDOM Good Works!

For a healthier world,
